Dr. Fabio Rossi

Congratulations to the McNagny and Rossi Labs, who received 2022 Health Innovation Funding Investment (HIFI) Awards from UBC Health!

HIFI Awards enable interdisciplinary groups of health researchers to undertake innovative activities that have the potential to create change, catalyzing cross-faculty and cross-campus collaborations at the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses. There were two streams in this competition: the General Stream, and the Team-Based Stream.

The HIFI review committee selected 11 collaborative teams across both campuses to receive funding, 2 of which include CBR members from the McNagny and Rossi Labs. Just a few of these members include Dr. Kelly McNagny, Dr. Michael Hughes, Yasmin Lau, and Kristin Li from

the McNagny Lab, as well as Dr. Fabio Rossi and Dr. Marine Theret from the Rossi Lab.

Congratulations to all!

About the Health Innovation Funding Investment (HIFI) Awards

Health is produced by a complex interplay of individual, social, political, and economic factors. Interdisciplinary and cross-faculty collaborations have the potential to lead to more innovative solutions to improve health and address health inequities.

The Health Innovation Funding Investment (HIFI) Awards are intended to catalyze these collaborations by supporting cross-faculty and cross-campus research at UBC's Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.
