FACILITATORS
Leanna Bedell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Victoria, and shortly afterwards, she joined the Science Newsletter team at STEMCELL Technologies. Two years later, she’s now the Senior Social Media Specialist where she works to optimize social media feeds and communicate science.
Kristina McBurney received her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of British Columbia, where she studied under the supervision of Dr. LeAnn Howe. Kristina is now the Manager of Scientific Communications and Communities at STEMCELL Technologies, where she manages the Stem Cell Podcast and Science in the City programs.
