Melanie Dostert is a second year PhD student studying biofilm associated antibiotic resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. When she is not doing awesome science in the lab, Melanie spends much of her free time playing the violin in the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra (VPO).
