Anna Sinova joins the CBR as the Education Program Coordinator

As you all know, a major objective of the CBR is to enhance educational and research opportunities for all of its members. To achieve that end, we are fortunate in having been able to recruit Anna Sinova to the position of Education Program Coordinator for the CBR.

Anna SinovaAnna is a UBC Science graduate with strong program development skills. She most recently worked at the UBC-affiliated Rural Coordination Centre of BC, planning and coordinating programs and workshops for medical trainees and physicians. Prior to that, she was employed at the Children’s and Women’s Hospital where, among other accomplishments, she designed and implemented the first webinar-style graduate course for the NeuroDevNet trans-Canadian initiative.

Anna has a deep appreciation for the importance of providing high quality education programs for trainees, researchers and practitioners. Her first priority will be to meet with and gain input from all the staff and students (undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral)  – no small task – and then to engage them in building a first-class training program that adds long-lasting value to their UBC experience.

Please join me in welcoming Anna to the CBR!  We’re excited to have her lead us in this new venture.
