This CBR Suite is dedicated to the safe and ethical collection of human blood for research purposes. Members of UBC’s research community with current ethics approval for blood collection and with signed consent forms from volunteer donors will be able to have blood collected by a certified phlebotomist into different collection tubes as required. To facilitate analysis of the blood cells, a floor model centrifuge, a fluorescence flow cytometer and platelet lumi-aggregometer are available.
