Research Interests

The focus of our research continues to be on the development and application of proteomic methods to study signal transduction mechanisms in human cells. This includes the use of global protein expression screens to discover protein markers linked to aspects of human health, and the analysis of the interactions of individual signaling proteins and their dynamic changes in health and disease. It is hoped that this will ultimately lead to the design of improved diagnostic tools and treatments. We are currently working on the following themes:

  • Discovery of novel protein markers
  • Analysis of stable and transient protein interactions
  • Comprehensive detection of post-translational modifications
